August 2026 · Windows and Android older than this version must update before opening the shop.

Required version is 0.2.26 (security). Install the current Windows Setup or Android APK.
Help on advancedinv.com starts with everyday work (get around, quantities), then permission-gated features.

Right-click items, folders, and photos. Ctrl/Shift-click to select more than one (including folders). Click empty space to clear.
Click a SKU to copy it. Drop a photo onto an item or folder. F2 rename, Enter opens what you hover, ? shows keyboard shortcuts.
Undo after a move or quantity change. Sign out asks first.
Type 1/4" and it becomes ¼". Download item and folder photos.
Copy a folder and its contents into another inventory as a root folder.

Type 1/4" in an item or folder name and it becomes ¼" as you go. Search finds both forms.
Download an item photo from the item page or the edit form.
Folder covers: tap a photo slot and choose Download this photo.

Variations show as the full name, e.g. Work Shirt M.
On an item with a SKU, see how many are in other inventories in this warehouse, plus a total.
Copy to another inventory starts at 0 (you can set a quantity). Same SKU stays linked.
Delete a variation while editing. Low-stock alerts can be turned off per item.
Manage items → Find matching items: same name, no SKU — suggest one SKU to link them.
Copy a folder and everything in it to another inventory (items start at qty 0, same SKUs).

Folder covers can be a collage of up to 4 photos. Upload new pictures or pick items already in that folder.
If you don’t set a cover, the folder still shows item photos automatically — now up to four, not just the first one.
A parent folder can use photos from items in its subfolders, and from those subfolders’ covers.

August 2026 · Recommended update. First minor release.

All the 0.1 work in one installer: warehouses and team, variations, bulk edit, natural size sort, save-before-leave, and the rest.
Settings → Install smaller updates automatically. Optional updates can apply when you have Wi‑Fi or mobile data. This 0.2.0 update still asks first (it is recommended).
Web can refresh itself when you allow automatic updates. Windows can run the installer in the background. Android still needs one tap to install.

Settings shows a simple version like 0.1.39 — no extra build number.
Windows and Android can say Update recommended when a ship is important, or just New version available for smaller ones.
Very old apps (before 0.1.28) still must update before they can open.

Select several items in Manage items and edit shared details once (description, source, tags, prices). Optionally only fill blanks.
Sizes sort in real order: 3, 9, 10, 19, 20 — not 10 then 20 then 3.
Leaving a new or edited item, folder, or job asks if you want to save first.
“Items not in a folder” only shows on the inventory home, and only for that inventory.
Add item / add folder buttons sit on top of the list instead of leaving a blank strip.
Variations on new and edit item, compact stock buttons, collapsed variation lists.
Warehouse team: owner label, no editing your own role, leave a warehouse, suggestion box in Settings.
